We believe privacy should be simple. Mix at Home collects only what's needed to run the app. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Mix at Home ("we", "us", or "our") is a mobile application that helps you discover cocktail recipes based on the ingredients you own. Our registered contact email is [email protected].

Information you provide
- Account details: Your email address and display name when you create an account.
- Pantry data: The ingredients and spirits you add to your home bar.
- Favourites: Recipes you save or bookmark within the app.
Information collected automatically
- Authentication data: Session tokens and login timestamps managed securely by Supabase.
- App usage data: We may collect anonymised usage information (such as which features are used) to improve the app. This data cannot be linked back to you personally.
Information we do not collect
- We do not collect your precise location.
- We do not access your contacts, calendar, or photo library (unless you explicitly use the barcode scanner feature, which only accesses the camera feed in the moment of scanning).
- We do not collect payment information. Any purchases made through affiliate links leave our app entirely and are governed by the retailer's own privacy policy.
3. How we use your information
- To create and maintain your account.
- To show you personalised recipe recommendations based on your pantry.
- To sync your data across your devices.
- To improve the app's features and fix bugs.
- To send you important account-related emails (e.g. email verification, password reset). We do not send marketing emails unless you explicitly opt in.
4. How we store your data
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit using industry-standard TLS encryption. Supabase infrastructure is hosted on AWS and is SOC 2 compliant. You can read more at supabase.com/security.
5. Third-party services
Mix at Home integrates with the following third parties:
- Supabase — Database, authentication, and storage. Privacy policy
- fal.ai — AI image generation for cocktail photography. Only recipe names and ingredient data are sent; no personal information is shared. Privacy policy
- Affiliate retailers — When you tap a "Shop" link, you are taken to a third-party retailer's website. We may receive a commission at no cost to you. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
We do not share your personal information with any other third parties without your explicit consent.
6. Affiliate links and advertising
Mix at Home may display featured products from affiliate partners. These are clearly labelled within the app. Clicking an affiliate link may earn us a small commission from the retailer. We only feature products relevant to cocktail making. No personal data is shared with affiliate partners as part of these arrangements.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct any inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Export your data in a portable format.

8. Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days. Anonymised, aggregated usage data may be retained indefinitely as it cannot be linked to any individual.
9. Children
Mix at Home is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, please contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.
10. Cookies and tracking
The Mix at Home mobile app does not use cookies. Our website may use functional cookies to ensure it works correctly. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via the app or by email. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
